We went to Corregidor! Corregidor is a small island thats in Manila Bay. Its very special, and very cool.
We got to stay at a hotel there, take a tour, and even go exploring!
While on the tour, we were on a shuttle. (Its like a bus) It would stop at the different ruins, and let us explore from 5 – 30 mins.
At one of the ruins, we went inside, me and Ike fount a little cave inside the ruins. We went inside and heard a rattling sound and ran out as fast as we could! It was freaky! ‘Cuz it was just me and Ike.
Then we realized it was bats! (you could smell the bat-droppings) It was way cool!
The next day our all of us went to a place called the bat cave. Even though there wasn’t any bats, it was freaky.
We also went to the ruins of a theater! I put on a show for mom, dad, Ike and Abby! It was fun.
Thats the trip to Corregidor! We also went to the beach, the ruins of a barracks, the ruins of a hospital, and alot more.
And I also found out how to type like this! Its way cool! Haha!

Is Texas warmer then the Philippines? Or is the Philippines warmer? Texas is really warmer then the Philippines!
Or so it seems. Texas has warmer tempatures then the Philippines. But there are two reasons the Philippines seems warmer.
1. The Philippines stays the same tempature all year long. The Dry season is no warmer then the Wet season.
2. If it is 85 dagrees outside, its 85 dagrees inside your house, too! We only use AirCon at night.
So, Texas is warmer! Wow!
It all started a while ago. We had a few problems with the plumbing in our water system, but it was
fixed so had thought nothing about it. But just yesterday, Isaac woke up to go to the bathroom and
there was like HALF A FOOT OF WATER IN THE BATHROOM. Isaac woke us all up to see what had
happened. Then we thought something. The living room was right below the bathroom….
We went downstairs, and, yep you guessed it, the living room had water in it also. Thankfuly nothing
important got wet. Except us of course, getting the water out. Its a good thing the ceiling wasn’t made
of rocksheet, or the whole ceiling would have fallen down!
You all know we have to cute little kittens! And sometimes they get
into trouble. I bet your wondering about the title. Yes, our cats,
like the oven. Theres an opening in the back of the oven, and
the cats like to go behind there and go INSIDE the oven!
So before we cook, we have to remember, “oh wait, I have to take the cats out of the oven”.
Well, I havent been to be on my blog for a while, getting ready for faith next year and other stuff.
So I’ll tell you about my time tonight.
At dinner we were talking about Star Trek, (an old show), when Isaac said,
“Wouldn’t it be cool if we could realy travel at warp speed?”
“That would be cool!” My dad said. “but, we can’t. You knowhow Albert Eienstein found out..”
Abby inturupted him. “That time is money!”
Siblings can be so funny sometimes.
After dinner, I went upstairs and Abby said, “Sarah, Isaac! Look! A gecko!”.
I went to see the gecko, but mom told us to let it free in the bathroom.
It’ll eat ants and misguitos. Isaac let me have it for a second while he went to look at something.
I looked closer at the gecko and sure enough, it was a budaki!
A budaki is a philippino lizard.
I hadn’t noteced the budaki crawling up my arm when Abby said,
“Sarah, that gecko is crawling around in your hair!”
After that we let him go.
Wow, what a night!
The other day, me and my family, (and all the other philippine missionarys) went to confrince. Confrince is where all the missionarys in the Philippines go on a 5 day retrete to this place and have a meeting. Of course, the meeting part was for the grown-ups, but the KIDS get to have fun! The kids (ages 6-10) , after breakfeast, go to the gym and have kind of a daycare/school type thing. We read about the Bible, we played games, and we had snack. At 12:00, it was over, and we were free to run the rest of the day. Most the time, me and my frinds went to the treehouse. But sometimes, at 8:00 at night, you can go to the gym, and bowling is FREE. So dad to me and Abby. =)
